You’ll be glad to know that these places, along Highway 12- through Escalante, CapitalReef, etc are still some of the most scenic and vivid areas in our great Country. Despite the heat, the dryness, the barren land- it is striking. I love to walk small little cemeteries and see and feel the lives of previous dwellers, often cut short due to harsh conditions.
