Yes, LED lighting for yourself and your bike at night. It's fun but also an important safety measure.

I used to live in Monterey, and once I took an art class from Erin Lee Gafill, whose family owns nepenthe and she lives and has her painting studio there. It is a wonderful building and now I desperately miss Big Sur! Thanks for the good memory jog!

I vote "yes" on the Friday Fish Fry. Always enjoy your posts. I share your hesitance to show up too often in people's inbox, but when I express this doubt, they tell me not to worry. I guess if people subscribe, it means they wanna hear from you. I know I do!

Those one-by wide boards sandwiched - reminds me of architect Alex Wade’s work. In his 1977 book “30 Energy Efficient Houses You Can Build” because he used built up members (three pieces laminated) to create posts and bolted beams to the center piece so the beams were supported by the two sides pieces. Beautiful stuff - easier to erect than traditional post and beam.

Come along and ride shotgun with me…anytime! Look forward to your posts from BM - a wild ambitious creative experiment with too much waste and non-stop techno, but full of wonderful generosity.
